This jacket was snug in the XL, particularly through the midsection. Husband liked the jacket, so we exchanged it for a 2XL. That one fits nicely, though the sleeves are a little long.
Sizing context-- my husbands wears XL in shirts from Lands End and LlBean. It is not unusual for him to have to size up in more active outdoors oriented brands.
