4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice bagVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from DC on Monday, April 24, 2017I'm not a very serious hiker. This bag seems to do the job very well. I'm 5'10" and it fits me quite well. Looking forward to using it a few times per year.

5.0 out of 5 stars. im sold on boreasReviewed by hikealongmike from california on Thursday, May 1, 2014I love osprey and black diamond packs so when i was out shopping for a new pack it totally disregarded this brand until someone had me try it on. Boy am i glad i did, although at 3lbs its not ultralight, the fit and lumbar support made it feel like it weighed less than the 2 lbs packs i tried on. I need lots of lumbar support and this pack offers it. Also if you want to shed 15 oz you can take out the pack support but it still leaves you with the soft foam back. Hip pockets are huge, i love them. The rain cover is good, fits the pack perfectly. So if you overpack it might become a bit difficult to get it on. The fallaron black is accurate in color. The one thing its missing is a sleeping pad strap but you can easily rig one out of paracord.
3 pockets in the floating hood allows for organization. One additional issue people may have but not myself is the slanted bottom of the pack. You might have to be wary of how you pack and where you place your pack as it wont stand up by itself (but attaching my sleeping pad solves that issue) -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Boreas Lost Coast BackpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Hawaii on Wednesday, April 9, 2014This pack is amazing. I just tested it this weekend; it held up to rain, stayed on my back through a motorcycle ride, fit everything easily, and was very light and comfortable. The pockets are well designed and seem to help me organize my stuff.
