There was a cutting pressure across the top of the left foot where the tongue is attached. Sized and or cut wrong? Seems defective, certainly not what you'd expect from Vasque. I did some searching and found most reviews on Amazon were similar to mine unfortunately I didn't see that before buying. Returned them @ a $6.95 loss..live and learn?

More Narrow Then Other Vasque BootsReviewed by raidermark from California on Monday, August 21, 2017Having purchased several pairs of Vasque boots previously, and with my current pair starting to wearing down, I ordered a new pair. I was shocked when the boots did not fit. The width had dramatically shrunk from previous models. I had to look twice at the label on the boots to see if they were the correct size. They may fit some people with narrow feet, but someone who owns Vasque boots will be in for a surprise since their sizing has obviously changed. Since their boots no longer fit me, I won't be buying Vasque footwear in the foreseeable future.

I was looking for a light hiker for on/off trail usage with a light day pack. These are extremely comfortable and have been everything I've wanted. They feel like light high-top sneakers with rugged tread and great grip on all surfaces.

I have become a fan of both Megagrip and Idrogrip coumpounds. Very, very good for gripping wet surfaces and can be counted on when other soles become a hazard. If you like to hike and have had issues with your soles sliding on wet surfaces, check these shoes out. The Inhalers are lightweight and very comfortable. Fit seems average and no issues there and since the Inhalers have Gore-Tex, for me the purchase was a no brainer.
