3.0 out of 5 stars. Bit largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by DbdOh from Ohio on Wednesday, January 10, 2018Jacket seemed to be what I was looking for in lightweight waterproof insulated jacket but too large in XL; chest was 50 in-3 inches wider than stated fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket, Good ValueReviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Saturday, January 6, 2018Use for skiing. Performed well in fair weather (no snow) at temps between 10 - 30 degrees F. Light insulation so you will need to layer at colder temps, but it fits true to size and allows for layering. Jacket is very functional, has enough pockets for what is needed, but nothing more. This is a low profile, no frills, what you see is what you get outer layer. Marmot and STP, per usual, deliver on value, quality and on the mark product descriptions.

2.0 out of 5 stars. too tight fittingVerified Buyer Reviewed by frank from new york state on Friday, December 29, 2017as a medium it would make a good small except for sleeves too long to be used by anyone who is a small person.

4.0 out of 5 stars. nice combination of water proof and insulatedVerified Buyer Reviewed by mdw from idaho on Tuesday, November 28, 2017This is a nice light combination of water proof and insulation. The only negative is the hood is quite large and built for a helmet, so it is a bit big for everyday use. A positive, however, if you are wearing a helmet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Jacket. Recommended.Reviewed by Geoff W. from Central NY on Wednesday, November 8, 2017I have come to love Marmot. My wife and daughter have had Marmot jackets for years and love them. I was an Outdoor Research Goretex jacket kind of guy until I bought this jacket. The only reason why I switched from the Outdoor Research jacket (it was the best jacket that I have ever owned) was because I accidentally stained it with rust and degreaser while repairing the snowblower last winter. It was a sad day, very sad day. Subsequently, I bought a North Face jacket that year and it was the [...], freeze your balls off jacket that I have owned, even though I looked spectacular while wearing it. Anyway, this Marmot jacket is thin and lightweight. I did not think it would be sufficient for cold weather based on the fact that it is so thin and lightweight. So far I have been comfortable in temperatures ranging from 72F (indoor) to 22F (outdoor) with just a t-shirt underneath. This jacket is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It keeps you comfortable, not hot or cold. It is kind of strange and takes a little getting used to, you just kind of sit in this comfortable zone. I don't take the jacket off when going from outdoor to indoor. I am beginning to believe that this jacket is "magic", and I highly recommend it.
