4.0 out of 5 stars. Haven't had then wet yet but love the fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Siete from Florida on Wednesday, December 26, 2018I didn't buy these to use for snow but more for rain. I normally wear a 31-30 in jeans... I got medium waist and reg length....I was nervous about buying pants on line... I tried them on... Fit like a glove! I was totally surprised. Seems like a tremendous value compared to the MSRP. I love the way they look... But I will say they fit a little too tight if you plan to wear thick layers under them... Thermal base layer is about all the space you have...I don't plan to do that often, so I'm pleased. I would give them 5 stars but I haven't got them wet yet.... As long as I stay dry.. they get a 5

4.0 out of 5 stars. Interesting productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dr Brown from Michigan on Tuesday, December 4, 2018Have not yet had a chance to test in the wild but first impressions are good. Lightweight and clearly well made, hoping I will never have to test the RECCO® avalanche transponder, but an interesting feature to include; was not aware of its inclusion when I ordered the pants. Was expecting some insulation layer but none present; guess I'll just have to figure the right level of fleece in an Under Armor base layer to compensate. Not a difficult problem to solve.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Not really ski pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by The Kayak Guy from New England on Sunday, November 18, 2018The quality was very good but they ran tight in the seat. Only room for thin base layer so insulation would be minimal. Probably better for climbing. I sent them back. Order a size up if you layer.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Snow PantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cold Play from Alaska on Wednesday, November 14, 2018Bought as a light weight snow pant for Backcountry Skiing. Should work great for hiking. Sizing a bit tighter than I care for. Normally a 34 waist and got mediums, had to exchange for large.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Geat pants for the price!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Robo31542 from ND, MT, Wy, CO, Id on Wednesday, November 14, 2018These pants work! The retail price is insane, but the STP price was way more than fair. When I first saw them I thought they were going to be too small. I'm 5'8', and about 210 so getting clothing to fit is not always easy. Usually the legs are way too long in something that will fit my waste. So I was surprised when the Large/Short fit perfectly. The stretchy material not only made for a perfect fit, it also made for movement without restriction. I've used them four times while cross country skiing in the last week, and half a dozen times hiking and working in the Badlands, and tried them on over both alpine ski boots and heavy mountaineering boots. They are held in place by the sticky built in gaiter on all boots. There are two small loops on the bottom of each leg, presumably for tying them down, but I don't think they're necessary. I've used them while it is snowing, but not when raining so I ran water over them in the sink. Every thing just sloughed off. The material feels tough, but is soft and comfortable. I've had no chaffing issues. I'll try them on rock and ice this winter. About the only thing I would change would be the addition of a couple of cargo pockets. All in all, a great product I am only able to afford because of Sierra Trading Post.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Quality, Stylish too!Verified Buyer Reviewed by M from Seattle on Tuesday, October 2, 2018Really love these pants. Bought them for a mountaineering trip for a hardshell outer layer with the hope of being able to use them as a ski pant. They are excellent for both uses. They held up great in the tough wind and rain conditions we had hiking up to high camp. They are also super light and pack down pretty well in a pack. And these are perfect ski pants, really the best I've ever had. Been up twice so far this season and they've been great! Also want to give a shout out to sierra trading post, I ordered these pants on overnight to that I could make it to gear check the next day. Because of shipping issues, the pants were not able to be dropped off on time. STP refunded me the cost of shipping and I am super grateful for that!! Thank you so much Sierra trading Post!
If anyone has questions about these pants let me know!
