5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cris from Idaho on Tuesday, February 27, 2018Big fan of Outdoor Research's stuff. Always well built. Based on some of the reviews and sizing info, I initially ordered a Large since I was going to be fitting this over existing clothing and not wearing it as a primary shirt. When it arrived it was much looser than expected and the sleeves were long. I exchanged it for a Medium and it fit perfect. Not tight, but enough I can comfortably weae a sweatshirt underneath it and have room to move around with the jacket zipped. I am 185 and 5' 10" with an athletic build.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Two out of three ain't bad...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Houndstooth from Boise on Sunday, February 4, 2018Pros:
Vintage style with good pockets
Feels super durable
Con for me was stiffness and low comfort. Duh, I suppose, it wears like a work jacket because it is one. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Surprisingly warm and comfortableReviewed by JP from Virginia on Wednesday, January 31, 2018My new favorite jacket and I’m pretty picky. It has function, style, and great value. Warm, completely wind proof, and some stretch for comfort. Not puffy jacket warm but plenty for most cold weather down to 30 degrees if you’re not sitting still.
I’m 5’10” 170lbs and size medium is perfect. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Quality jacket with large, boxy cut.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from California on Friday, January 12, 2018This OR jacket is really cool. DWR finish, perfect for staying warm in mid-temps while looking stylish rather than off-the-trail.
Unfortunately (for me) it's a very boxy, wide cut. The small looked great on me but the sleeves cut into my underarm. So I ordered a Medium. Shockingly the medium was HUGE compared to the small, way more room in the chest and torso.
Even though this thing is sized very awkwardly I'm still gonna keep it because I like the jacket (and STP returns cost me shipping... lame).
Conclusion:
If you're a bigger guy, it's a slick jacket. If you're lean and long like me, find something with more of a "European" cut. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Casual Fall JacketReviewed by Anonymous from Detroit Area on Wednesday, October 25, 2017I ended up returning this jacket because I decided the gray plaid looked a little too casual and rural for my needs. Other than that I was really impressed with the jacket. I think the idea of an updated a shirt jacket is fun. The cuffs are shirt style. Outdoor Research made a great jacket. The fit was typical for the size. The fabric is water resistant and a little stretchy. It reminds me of a soft shell jacket. The jacket has thin layer of insulation and a quilted satin type lining. Easy to slip on and off. The pockets are large and useful. The mix of diagonal and horizontal lines is nice. The jacket does not seem like it would be warm enough for freezing temperatures. But it would be good for fall windy, wet, and slightly chilly weather. Overall the quality of the jacket seems very high. If you like the rural plaid definitely check out this jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Casual Insulated JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, June 29, 2017This was the casual jacket I've been looking for! The gray color pairs nicely with jeans or khaki's. The shell is similar to an OR Ferrosi but a bit more burly. It has just enough insulation to be comfortable down into the 50's (lower with additional layers). It does run slightly big. I got an XL (only size available at the time) and there is plenty of room for me (I'm 6 ft, ~220lbs). If available I would have gone for a Large since I won't be layering with this jacket often.
Construction is absolutely top notch. The zipper, cuff buttons, and stitching are flawless. For the price, this was an absolute steal. Thanks STP! -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Seattle Resident from Seattle, WA on Monday, May 15, 2017Great jacket. Breathes well and is perfect for Seattle's cooler temperatures. Jacket looks better in person that what is actually pictured on the model. True to Outdoor Research sizing (Standard Cut).

5.0 out of 5 stars. Just about perfectReviewed by Cliff from NC on Thursday, January 29, 2015I can't say enough good things about this jacket. Great looking and gets compliments every time I wear it. It's quite thin and not much more than a wind breaker someone recently called it a shackit for half shirt half jacket. It's 100% windproof and has a bit of stretch to it making it even more comfy. This will keep you warm with a light long sleeve shirt down to the 50's but nothing lower than that. This jacket is consistent with OR sizing, I am 5' 8" and 150 pounds and this fits perfect but it's not big enough to fit a sweater under it, but I wouldn't want to.
