5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by James K from Colorado on Thursday, February 7, 2019Last pair of Asolo's finally gave out after 12 years, these are half the weight and double the comfort. Highly recommend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The laces work better than expectedReviewed by Matt the Hiker from Ohio on Monday, January 21, 2019I am following up on my first review of these boots, now that I have worn them a number of times. The laces hold much better, much longer than expected. Better than the more typical thicker more substantial laces you find on boots. Maybe this is why Asolo is using these thin laces--they stay tied better. So, I am upping my rating to a 5. The boots are performing very well in rather slippery wet muddy icy conditions we currently have here in Ohio.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Shoelaces too short, thinReviewed by Matt the Hiker from Ohio on Friday, January 11, 2019These are great boots, don't get me wrong. I love Asolo and have worn many boots from them. This boot was exactly what I needed for slippery uneven ground. The sole is much stiffer than other Asolo boots I have, and the grip was much better. HOWEVER, what's up with these shoelaces? They were rather thin (flimsy?) and not long enough. I had to not use one set of eyelets to give them enough length to properly tie. I wanted to replace the laces with more substantial boot laces but the eyelet holes are too small. Asolo finally made a mistake here!
