Asolo Rules!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Crispinseattle from WA on Wednesday, November 13, 2019Years ago I bought my first pair of Asolo hiking boots from Sierra and I was amazed at how well they fit. I have high arches and insteps with a narrow heel and a slightly wide forefoot. They fit like they were made for me. But the funny thing is that I've recommended them to so many friends and family and at least a half dozen people have bought them but nobody had the same type of foot as I do. My son's feet are sort of like mine but his best friend's are narrow. My ex had flat feet and he was convinced these wouldn't work for him but when he tried on a pair, he bought them immediately! I hiked so much in those boots I finally wore them out. These model fits exactly like that first pair and I love them. They're a bright blue color and they are gorgeous! I haven't made it out to the mountains yet but hopefully I'll start some winter hiking soon. Do yourself a favor. Get yourself some Asolos!

I'm a park ranger and spend alot of time on my feet. These boots came out the box as some of the most comfy boots ever. It didn't feel like they needed to be broken in. I spend 40+ hrs a week on my feet and for the first time I get home with virtually no foot fatigue. The ankles are supportive and made of a soft padding that really helps with keeping me comfy. I highly recommend these boots!

These hurt the moment I tried them on. They may work for someone else without my foot condition, however.

The quality of the materials seems sub par compared to what I'm used to seeing with Asolo. Leather seems ok but the synthetic portions are a little flimsy. (I know they were trying to keep the weight down here.) Says made in Romania but feels like Chinese quality.
Comfortable, however. -

I wore a hole in the first one with the numerous miles! Then I bought a replacement pair in the brown color. When I saw the blue color at Sierra, I had to buy them. I normally wear 8 - 8.5 in shoes. These boots I bought a size 8. I would highly recommend for your next boot purchase. They are comfortable around the ankle immediately.

I usually wear a 10/41. The size 9 I zeroed in on is a 41 Euro — perfect fit. (In other words, focus on the European sizing for these boots, I suggest.) I even got both colors!
