Arc'teryx Ames Jacket - Men's has been discontinued by Arc'teryx and is no longer available. Our product experts have helped us select these available replacements below.
GORE-TEX protection, Coreloft insulation, and a refined urban minimalism come together in the Ames Jacket, a warm, waterproof, breathable shell for cool, wet urban environments. The GORE-TEX fabric has a uniquely soft, supple feel, and the Coreloft delivers warmth without bulk. The fit is trim and articulated to move with the body, and the StowHood provides full-coverage protection but tucks cleanly into the collar when not needed. The drawcord at the hem seals out drafts and finishes the fit.
Features of Arc'teryx Ames Jacket - Men's:
N80p GORE-TEX 2L provides a unique natural look and touch with waterproof, windproof protection
Coreloft synthetic insulation for lightweight warmth with minimal bulk
Low profile StowHood provides weather protection and zips neatly into collar for a clean look when not needed
Internal drawcord cinches to block out drafts and provide a trimmer fit
Fully taped to reduce bulk and provide a water tight finish
Articulated patterning provides mobility and comfort

Style is very fashionable and beautiful, model is good, very warm, full of science and technology, waterproof, suitable for various occasions to wear, outdoor or work wear is a good choice. Anyway, it's my favorite Archaeopteryx hard-shell jacket!

Alpine, wilderness, hiking, leisure, this is a very versatile shoe, my wife also thinks it is beautiful, I like it very much.
And it's still waterproof. When I walk through the stream, it gives me enough confidence to protect my feet from getting wet.

Good Jacket with DWR , I am 176cm tall and 78kg . have tried M size and S Size and I find the S Size is more suitable to me .
Warm and dry with understated good looks for the walk to work. I was struggling to find something for those rainy east coast days when temps were above freezing but too cold for a lighter shell. This jacket has clean lines - probably not the best choice... Read more

Very well made. Seems very warm. Had to size up one size compared to Northface or Patagonia....as a result the sleeves were long. The biggest issue was the collar. Because of the stow-away hood, it was very stiff which made zipping it up fully VERY uncomfortable. I had to return it.
Pros:
None
Cons:
Sizing is off, order 1 size up
collar
