An excellent choice for warm weather adventures, the lightweight, roomy design includes a BD last to fit the masculine form, a cushy-soft Viscoflex® memory-foam sock liner and the durable protection of a Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable membrane (should the route turn wet).

Boots seem well made, true to size, the Gore-Tex has kept my feet dry..so far. No care instructions came in the box, that would be nice, the information may be available on-line, but why not include it?

I really needed the textile boot and the Salewa Repace fit my mid-weight needs. I did send these back because I have a similar pair of Alico's. BUT, if money were not issue, I would have and probably should have kept them. I'm a 11 1/2C so they would have required a heavier sock, but they are perfectly sized for a D width with a roomy toe box. Quality was excellent.

From someone who spends a lot of time backpacking and mountaineering, these are a great buy for a mid-weight. The only reason these were not a 5 star rating is that they could use more toe rocker.
