Product Info for Vasque Skywalk GTX Backpacking Boot - Womens
The Skywalk GTX logged as many miles in the 1980s as any boot, establishing the benchmark for a mixed upper, lightweight rig. For its contemporary incarnation Vasque started with rough-out leather, tanned right here in the U.S. They blended that with abrasion resistant, breathable nylon mesh. The Gore-Tex waterproof breathable lining manages the Skywalk's internal climate, while a Vibram Pyrenees sole keeps you firmly on the trail. Old school meets today's Vasque... in the Skywalk GTX.

I don't usually wear hiking boots when I hike, so my primary use for these boots is during the Winter of Northern Utah. They are warm, waterproof, burly, great traction, and stylish for my little mountain town. Comfortable right out of the box. I have a duck-shaped foot with a narrow heel and the Wide version fit very well.

Ordered same size as old ones -9m. They're very tight. I'm trading for a 9.5w. We'll see how they fit. So far, CampSaver customer service great - very quick in getting back with me, personable, and helpful. Ga... Read more
