5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Light JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Edger from Texas on Saturday, January 20, 2018Awesome Jacket feels very warm and light and it looks great I can use it as insulation layer or to go out with friends, I got the medium and it feels true to size, this brand has all the same features of Patagonia but for a quarter of the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and lightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jacket guy from Northern California on Tuesday, September 26, 2017Nice layering piece. Thin enough to fit under a parka shell, yet quite warm. Enough room also to layer a fleece underneath if the weather really gets cold. Real test will come this Winter. Subtracted one star as zipper is a little fussy--you must make sure the zipper placket is taut and straight while you pull the zipper up, otherwise the zipper can get temporarily stuck. But I always manage to get it unstuck if I employ the above technique. Fit and finish (aside from zipper issue) are top-notch. I have a couple Mountain Hardwear jackets and several pants, and they are all well made.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for what I neededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bear Track Jack from Idaho on Thursday, March 9, 2017I have to admit I was a little skeptical buying a Mountain Hardwear coat online. The coat is light weight but surprisingly warm and wind resistant. It has good length overall and in the arms. I plan on using it as a top layer for snowshoeing, mountaineering, and hiking over some technical base layers. It's first real test will come on my St. Helens climb. Overall it looks great and is a nice jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. new favorite jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by shopgirl from Panhandle Florida on Monday, February 27, 2017My husband is 6'2" with 36" sleeves and a 44 chest. He ordered an XL and it is a bit big around the waist ( can be cinched tighter if need be) but the shoulders and sleeves are perfect. It is perfect for layering and travels great. Liked it so much he ordered another.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Too shortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Leland from Boston on Friday, February 10, 2017If you're of the taller variety, this may be too short for you. Otherwise was nice and not too bulky.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dr Ville from Kentucky on Tuesday, January 31, 2017After checking out a lot of jackets online and in-person, I was lucky to find this Mountain Hardwear Switch Flip.
The dark grey color is reversible with a smooth, lighter-colored side.
I got this just for everyday wear & it is a perfect, light weight for that, plus I can add a fleece or sweater underneath for some extra warmth on days that are below freezing.
The Medium size is just right (5'11", 165) with a good length just below the waist and good sleeve length.
The bottom hem has adjustable drawstring to cinch it a little more snug and the sleeves have elastic bands to block out air flow.
Great Jacket. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Bad sample?Verified Buyer Reviewed by mikehd from Oregon on Monday, January 30, 2017Unlike other happy shoppers here the M size that I received was too tight in the upper chest and too long in the sleeves. I'm 5'7" and 170lbs and usually have no trouble with medium sized men's clothing. Fortunately it fit my taller son well so he wins a nicely constructed jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rach from Utah on Wednesday, January 11, 2017This is a perfect mid layer or outer layer on warm days. Not bulky, great quality and great fit. I purchased a size L for my boyfriend; it's a perfect fit and he loves it. He's 5'7, 155. Got it at a great price point, too!
