My new favourite piece for X-C and the like. Soft, comfortable, light weight, thin, stretchy, packable, breathable, wind resistant, hooded (almost snorkel like), long sleeves, long body, snow shedding and dries fast. Buy two. 5' 11" 165lbs. got a large burnt umber (even like the colour).
This is an amazing jacket. It is super thin yet still provides plenty of protection. It does provide warmth, but I would not rely on it for that purpose. It is perfect for physical activities in cold weather. It sheds light rain well. It does fit a slight bit tight, but I'm fatter so I would just say it is 'trim'. The arms are perfect. I am 5'9'' and 190lbs and the Large fits w... Read more

I'm 6'2.5" and 175 lbs. The fit is not skin tight but not lose/causal either. the sleeve length is perfect for my 36" length.
I wear the Boreas as a windshirt or just when a little extra is needed on cool mornings for my daily hikes. It is very breathable and the DWR is great in a light mist.
I wear is over a baselayer t-shirt and it has plenty of warmth. A great all around add... Read more

These aren’t the pieces that sit in your closet all summer waiting for snow, or live in the bottom of your ... Read more
For mountaineering or hiking this is a must have. Climbing Denali this piece of gear never left my back. Extra warmth at night, base layer in the morning and sunblock in the middle of the sunny microwave day that happen often enough in June.

Use it regularly for mountain biking in winter. Extremely tough material and abrasion resistant despite being thin and lightweight. It breathes well but is not overly wind proof. Another quality rab product.
Rab tends to fit very athletically and close to skin. So if you are used to US companies such as Marmot, Patagonia, or Mountain Hardware, it might seem small. It should fit on the tighter end. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
