5.0 out of 5 stars. Well thought out

Well thought out BC bag. Fits well -- longer and thinner shape limits bag movement. Zippered back panel on the inside of the straps eliminates the need to release buckles to access bag. Nicely divided between waterproof snow tools section that is large enough for longer probes and fits skins without interfering with access to shovel. Top compartment perfect size for goggles and small extras. A frames skis well. Diagonal carry could be improved.

Great quality, weight, accessibility, construction, and storage capacity. I will be using this bag in Saas-Fee and Tignes in the Alps, it is exactly what I was hoping for.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Ski Pack

I ordered this pack after having to return a BCA Stachpack which did not fit me. I'm 5'5" and need a small pack.... and the SMALL fit me great (it was NOT a one size fit all pack where you move the wasttbelt along the back of the pack to make it fit SM-Large.) I teach AIARE classes, and this is great for carry all the extra educational gear, as well as a great day ski pack, to carry all your avy gear, helmet and goggles, an extra layer and food and water. I ordered the blue one and loved the color too.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Fits Great!

I have not used this pack yet. It does fit my slightly oversized waist line on my 5'10" frame. I love the way it's designed and well thought-out as to where everything will go. Look at the youtube video of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Abqav5-IGfk Some folks have said that the water bladder doesn't fit inside here, but they didn't look closely enough to see that it does, and it fits well. I plan to use this for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. I bought this larger size because I carry (probably too much) group stuff as a leader in a Royal Ranger Outpost. I needed the extra room over my present BCA Stash pack. I think that this one is a winner! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have not used it yet.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
