Add a hood for maximum coverage ans versatility, at STP price, and you really can't go wrong. I love this for day hikes in the Sierras, and throw a soft shell over it for higher climbs in the cascades. Taking this bad boy to Ecuador in a few weeks to conquer some 20k footers
