4.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty good coatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NY, NY on Monday, January 14, 2019I bought this coat as a gift for my father. He's 70+ so I was a bit worried that he wouldn't care for the style. But his #1 concern was that the coat be really warm AND lightweight, and this fit the bill. My only concern is that the shiny parts of the coat seem to be made of quite thin material, and I'm worried that it may tear easily. My father would have preferred a detachable hood, but overall, he is happy with the coat.

5.0 out of 5 stars. A StealReviewed by TJ from Michigan on Sunday, February 4, 2018This is a fantastic coat. When I opened the box and took it out I said to myself WOW! How often can you find a six hundred dollar coat for a buck fifty? Yes, its a discontinued style though I prefer it to the new one.More pockets and it looks great when you slip into this beauty. Michigan winter cant't sting you, no way!

5.0 out of 5 stars. This coat saves livesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Snow Cowboy from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on Friday, February 2, 2018This is the lightest and warmest coat I've owned. I look forward to wearing it because of how stylish, warm, and comfortable it is. The length goes a little past mid thigh for me at 5'7 so there's no draft coming up through the jacket. The puffy parts are rediculously soft, all the pockets are very convenient, and the hood is just the right size with a huge fur trim.I was cautious of the color way because I thought the puffy part looked off. However, it looks so much better in person. I would definitely buy this again and in the same color.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Coat!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from KC on Saturday, January 27, 2018This coat is awesome! Double zipper can pull up to waist if you’re working in it and zips down full if you’re just standing around. Nylon upper is soft, not stiff at all, but still strong; very easy to move around in. Great coverage from hood. Runs a little large as Columbia tends to do, so take measurements and error on the light side. More size info and pictures available on their site if needed.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good, but not GreatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cosmo from Michigan on Saturday, December 30, 2017This is very lightweight but warm. Problem is they try to blend style with utility. It has reinforced arms/shoulder material but the front material beneath the pockets is so thin, anything that catches makes a tear. Case in point, dog jumped up and boom!, nail tear right under the front pocket. Mended with Crazy Glue, but still don't plan on using this for anything but a night out.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Parka EverReviewed by Old Geezer from Fargo, ND on Thursday, November 2, 2017Thus parka is warm and light in weight, longer than a jacket, shorter than a coat. Has an inner collar for extra warmth, the faux fur trim on the hood zippers off for machine washing. I live in Fargo. Its snowed three times this week so far and its going to snow tomorrow. As soon as I got this parka, I tested it by walking a number of miles- to Minnesota in fact, and back to Fargo, and I was warm the whole long trip. The cuffs on the sleeves are adjustable, the lining of the parka is heat reflective material, you can cinch the jacket from the inside for a custom, snugger fit. Runs true to size. Its not stiff either. You can move! The quality of this parka is fantastic. I will most likely by one for my best friend for the holidays. And unlike a lot of down or primaloft jackets, this one resists soaking up rain as well. I thought this parka was so great I had to call customer service about it. Lots of pockets for things other than your hands too!
