5.0 out of 5 stars. Great midlayer!

I got this for a midlayer for skiing, and am very happy with the fit and appearance. I get cold easily and find that multiple layers under my ski jacket help a lot on cold days. I am 5’8” and 130 lbs, with narrow shoulders. I got a medium so there would be enough room underneath for a base layer and vest, and it fits like I hoped. I have long arms and find the sleeves long enough to comfortably use the thumb holes; having this setup under my ski mittens helps keep my hands warm. I got the blue and like it so much that I ordered one in gray for my daughter!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy and warm

Love the built in thumbholes and the color-block style. This is comfy, stylish, and also quite warm for a lightweight jacket.

It’s thinner than I expected but it works when layering. 5’3, 110, 32DD and the small fits great. I like it a bit snug and the small is a tiny bit big in the stomach area. Chest area is perfect. I usually wear a XS (in other brands) but I’ve ordered XS in marmot and they are always too tiny.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. very lightweight jacket

I was hoping for something a bit warmer, but it will be good for spring. Very attractive, well-made and wearable. It's white, so no doubt every cat hair in the house with be magically attracted to it.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
