They are worth every penny and more. I was walking the Coast to Coast Path in Northern England with rain and wind coming horizontally. I was very well protected. The fit is accurate, what you would expect from a medium. They are a bit long for me at 5'4" but my boots keep them up off the ground.

They run 33 inches for a regular length (standard regular is 32") and can't be shortened without loosing waterproofing because the zipper runs the full length of the pant. The adjustable belt is great but I found the waist a bit run smaller that standard sizing. Hip with is standard and the overall look is trim. They are mid-rise and sit below the natural waist. Light weight and softer Gore-Tex. But, I had to return them because I'm 5'2" and they dragged on the ground even with the additional height of a ski boot.
