5.0 out of 5 stars. Super SweatshirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Barracuda from Vegas and Vallarta on Friday, July 28, 2017Its not really a jacket in my opinion. Its a very nicely made sweatshirt with a full zipper though. Love the thumb holes and the head fitting hood without being extra large for helmets. I don't often wear helmets so I don't much care for the giant hoody gear out there. If you are looking for a very nice upgraded sweatshirt, then the Desna from MH should do the trick. Cool thunderhead grey/green color on this one and sizing just a little snug. I think it would make an exceptionally nice mid layer for cold days.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and breathable.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Copp from Atlanta on Friday, July 28, 2017I have other MH Desna fleeces. This one is grided/vented on the torso but solid polarte on the arms, sides and hood. This is a good combo of breathability and warmth. Fit is not tight and technical but not loose either. Comfortable. Looks great and should do well as a light outer or midlayer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fit for Tall GalVerified Buyer Reviewed by OregonGal from Oregon on Wednesday, May 17, 2017I'm 5'10" tall and like this jacket in Men's Medium because it's long enough for me in the torso and arms (in fact the arms are about an inch too long). I prefer it over the women's style, as I like the mix of Polartec material on top chest & arms, and the grid fabric on the body. Am wearing on a sailing cruise in Spain ... should be warm in the wind!

4.0 out of 5 stars. very fit for sports inner layerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Chantilly VA on Tuesday, May 2, 2017the Desna behaves like a cheaper version of the likes of Merino-Loft or Icebreaker solfshell jacket; yet is more affordable. the wicked type material that affix to your torso ease you in sports activities, while the warmth and thinness of it, coupled w/ the hood provide your outdoor exposure w/ a very good middle layers. For those who could not afford an Icebreaker jacket (Sierra, Quantum, AtomLS) this is a very recommendable alternative, except two things (IMO) ... a) the front pockets in the Desna are not ideally placed to facilitate/ease you with a normal way to pocket your hands. .. b) the length is a tad too extended for a size medium.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice quality and fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Chantilly VA on Thursday, April 20, 2017I ordered a Medium black/charcoal, which gives ease all around. the jacket fits fine and its quality is outstanding, including spandex type micro-fleece, hood, zipper and multi-pockets, albeit a tad long if you are not a tall person. If you want a tighter fit serving as mid-layer to your outer wear, one size down would also be very fine; which I did. That is, the Small would also fits (without a tightness discomfort) and above all, is shorter as mid-layer,i.e. it will not show past the lower edge of your outer winter jacket. Try to get this quality for a price less than $70

3.0 out of 5 stars. ok designVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nicster33 from Rhode Island on Saturday, April 1, 2017It fits true to size. Compared to Patagonia, the Mountain Hardwear wrist area is poorly designed. MH wrist area doesn't allow for an easier fit when you don't put your thumb through the hole. Patagonai is a much better design. Patagonia thinks EVERYTHING through.
This jacket is ok. Nothing to write home about. -
