4.0 out of 5 stars. Great ValueVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Friday, August 4, 2017These boots had most of the qualities my husband was looking for in a mid height boot. Unfortunately, the toe box was a little too narrow for his foot. They were returned. He plans to go with the Merrell Moab, which he says has a wider toe box.

5.0 out of 5 stars. These boots rock!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Sunday, June 4, 2017Picked these up 2 months prior to a trip to Mesa Verde NP thinking I'd need at least that to get them broken in. I've had them less than a month and they are awesome. Quick to break-in, super light weight and comfortable beyond description! Highly recommend them...great product and a great price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Happy with MerrellVerified Buyer Reviewed by North Cascader from Washington on Friday, April 14, 2017This is the first pair of Merrell footwear I have purchased, and I have been very please with the results thus far. They are one of the most comfortable hiking boots I have every owned. These boots are tough, have great grip, water proof, and yet feel like you are wearing your favorite pair of warm slippers. I know it sounds weird, but it's true! I do a lot of hiking and backpacking in the wet and rugged North Cascades, and they have withstood the test. They fit to size, and I have not had any soreness in my feet or ankles whatsoever from wearing these. It's like there wasn't even a break in period. I would strongly recommend the Merrell Capra Mid Hiking Boot to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Finally a pair of Merrells that work for me.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Monday, March 27, 2017I have a narrow foot and have been frustrated with other Merrell styles. Many size 12's are too small, the 13's too big, and most generally wide and bulky. The Capras seem narrower, and without the bulk, which makes lacing them to fit much more precise. I love the flat laces. These boots are comfortable and feel solid, protective and balanced. The 13's are still a bit big but with plenty of room in the toe box which is great for all the downhills I do. I'm not 100% confident with the grip after a few slips in gravel (but gravel is gravel) but I generally trust these shoes on rock surfaces. I don't really like a brand whose size accuracy falls all over the map. I have two pairs of the All Out Blaze low shoes, which run big, so the size 12's in those are perfection. The Capras in a 13 are okay but I would MUCH prefer a 12-1/2, and it is a shame that so few brands skip this size in their offerings. Too big equals trip hazard but in general I do like these boots. No break in time needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Merrell CapraVerified Buyer Reviewed by Prbsurf from Santa Cruz Mtns. on Sunday, March 19, 2017This my first pair of this model. But right from the first lace up they were great. Went for a 3 hour hike in the woods right out of the box. Nice and light with great traction, and I really like the fit of the upper ankle cuff and tongue. Thinking of buying a back up pair.

4.0 out of 5 stars. So comfortable out of the boxReviewed by Colorado Joe from Colorado on Tuesday, September 6, 2016These are great light boots, almost like high top sneakers. Easy to wear immediately walking the sierras around Lake Tahoe. Not backpacking boots, but good day hikers.
