Recommended; in my mind for city, casual country outings . Very full fitting, with mynonly criticism being its lack of breatheability.

I also like that the hood stows away, makes it look more refined. As of 100% of everything I have ever purchased from Columbia I have been more than happy with.
Will be interesting to see how it preforms in a blizzard as far as warmth. Keeping dry yes. Spring, Summer and Fall OK.
Maybe if it was one of Columbia’s interchange jackets yes. -

How does that happen; the other side has one on it, but not the left side. Manufacturing defect that has created a pain in the rear for me as I have to reorder and repay for a replacement. Not real happy

Love that the sleeves insides are taffeta type and not the waterproof slick barrier, as it's on the outside now. Highly recommended.
