Cuts wind and holds heat well with a midlayer underneath. Fit is more relaxed than others (like Outdoor Research). Overall a great jacket if looking for a light down jacket for layering that won't soak through and get wet in the sleet seasons.
Could be better item - chest pocket and seam taped zippers.
