I am 5'9" and typically wear an 8-10 for women. I ordered a medium which fit very well. The sleeve and torso lengths cover past the wrist and hips for good coverage. I like the longer torso length when wearing leggings. Covers the behind. The fabric is light to mid-weight. It can function well as a solo layer and it is fitted enough to be worn under an out layer. I recommend this jacket.
