5.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality and value

The inner jacket is a good quality stand alone option - uncommon for the 3-1 jackets owned in the past (TNF, MH). The 2 together is as expected warm and waterproof. Sizing was spot on and the quality of the material and craftsmanship is high.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Never got the right product!

A big screw up. They sent me a pair of Marmot ski pants instead with the jacket's bar code sticker attached to the bag. I called customer service and they placed a new order for the jacket. Great!!

3 days later they cancelled the order. Instead of crediting My Amex account they generated a store credit and charged me for the return of the mispicked product.

    Not a happy customer,

This is exactly the coat I have been wanting: strong, versatile, and well-engineered. Sierra had it at a great price, and it arrived quickly. Kudos.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
