  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great long sleeves

Some of the reviews said the sleeves were disproportionately long, I love them. I'm 6'4" with long arms. It's rare that I can find a jacket with long enough sleeves unless I get an XL. The large fits me great. I wish all sleeves were long like these.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket, if it fits

Tried on a large in the green/blue in the store. Fit well, just a little snug on the hips as I was looking for. Liked the napoleon pocket and the hood. They didn't have a black one, so I ordered one online. The large black coat that got delivered wasn't snug at all, and the sleeves completely covered my hands.
When I returned it I went and grabbed the same size off the rack again and tried it on to compare. Same fit as original.
My guess would be there are different model years that they aren't differentiating online.
Not sure how they can call it a "masterpiece of insulating warmth" as the insulation is very minimal. SInce I didn't end up buying one I can't say how warm it would be, but I have a hard time believing that it would be warm in freezing temps.
Either way, the coats seem well made, just make sure you try it on before you buy so you dont end up wearing a tent.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Crazy long sleeves
Reviewed by Woody from Durango, CO on Thursday, November 3, 2016
I am 6'2", 200 lbs and the large is perfect with room for an insulating layer underneath. I agree with another reviewer about the sleeve length. I have long arms and they are still huge. Not a deal breaker for me though since the rest of the jacket's features are enough to make it my new "go to" jacket for skiing, snowshoeing etc. The only reason I did not give the jacket a five star rating is the sleeve length. I would highly recommend this jacket.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great light softshell with a little warmth.

I've read a lot of reviews that say the fit is weird. For me I'm on the slender side so I got a small. In 6"1' 170lbs with pretty narrow shoulders and average arms. The arms length is perfect. I could imaging as you go up in size the arm length could get weird.
If you're six foot and slender this will be a great jacket. For medium you'd probably need to be taller/have longer arms.
