5.0 out of 5 stars. Keen Liberty Ridge Hiking BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Deer Hunter from Illinois on Friday, March 9, 2018These Keen Liberty Ridge Hiking Boots are comfortable and seem well made. I have only had them for a little over a week, so I cannot vouch for their durability. I also have not tested whether they are waterproof. Based on the suggestions of other reviewers, I decided to get a half size larger, and that worked for me.
I purchased these boots for a bucket-list safari in South Africa in July, so they will be put to a rigorous test then. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Looks good, but unable to wearReviewed by Gully Foyle from La Crosse on Friday, March 2, 2018Generally I like Keen, mainly for fit - the wide toe box. However, since I have high arches, I was unable to put these boots on. Will return them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent durable hiker - Only boot my man will wear.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Tuesday, November 29, 2016This boot was MADE for anyone desiring comfort, excellent foot support, durability and style. It is particularly well-suited for a wider forefoot. Yet this boot will not slip on a narrower heel. Both avid hikers and outdoor enthusiasts will greatly appreciate this boot. The sole has good traction, provides excellent stability on rough terrain and is extremely durable. My guy is very hard on boots and has destroyed both uppers and has shredded soles on virtually every other brand of hiking boots. My guy worked at an outdoor gear store and has worn pretty much every top of the line hiking boot out there. He now wears these Keen hiking boots exclusively.
He was facing foot surgery a year ago to correct an orthopedic great toe condition that had gradually worsened over years, when he tried on this Keen boot. For the first time in years, his foot did not hurt. He put these boots on, and has been wearing them exclusively for the past year, with no further foot problems.
He cancelled his foot surgery and purchased a second pair in advance if he ever manages to wear the first pair out. He hikes nearly daily in rough terrain strewn with abrasive volcanic rock. Amazingly, these boots show virtually no sign of wear, either in the soles or the uppers. On his recommendation two more of his friends purchased the identical Keen Liberty Ridge WP hiking boot and are extremely happy with them. The Keen Liberty Ridge WP hiking boots are made in the USA with American quality. They have full-thickness leather uppers as well as supportive yet flexible arch support desirable in hiking boots.
The men's Keen Liberty Ridge WP boot sizing does run about 2 sizes smaller than each person's normal boot size. My guy normally wears size 8 hiking boot, but wears a size 10 in this boot. His friend that normally wears a size 10 boot fits in a size 12 Keen Liberty Ridge WP boot, and his other friend whose boot size is normally size 11, found the size 13 Keen Liberty Ridge WP boot to fit perfectly.
All in all, I have had nothing but positive comments about these Keen Liberty Ridge WP boots from all three guys and not one single complaint from any of them. There's three guys that are sold on them!
I hope Keen continues to make this model hiking boot with the same quality that these American-made Keen Liberty Ridge WP (waterproof) boots currently have. You can't go wrong with these! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. great bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by molidor from Illinois on Monday, November 21, 2016The boots are great. Im just disappointed in Customer Service. I asked if there was any specials for free shipping and they told me no. I'm a first time buyer and i asked if there're any promotions coming up for free shipping . The CS person said your company does not offer free shipping. The net two emails free shipping was offered. Very disappointed. its the little gestures that get the customer to come back.
